Caleb Martin Is Signing a 3-Year Contract With the Miami Heat Again

Caleb Martin recently signed a three-year contract on Wednesday with the Miami Heat, and it is turning out to be one of the best seasons in his entire NBA career. The Miami Heat is giving the new contract as a way to reward the player, and the full three-year contract will be worth $20.4 million, and the forward will be making around $6.5 million in the coming NBA season.

Caleb Martin was a top restricted agent in the National Basketball Association. During his 3rd NBA season, the forward set new career highs in many categories, such as points, rebounds, field goal percentage, and steals. Martin averaged 9.2 points, 1.1 assists, and 3.8 rebounds and played 60 games with the Miami Heat, shooting over 50%. This made him quite popular in online NBA betting industry.

Martin averaged a career-high of 22.9 minutes on that particular night, and his enhanced playing time could be because of the number of injuries sustained by the Miami Heat during the week. Martin often filled the shoes of other players like Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler.

Caleb Martin shone in various games and regularly put up double digits in his scores. His games include his 26-point performance against the Trail Blazers of Portland, which showed Martin had taken full control over the game, and established him as a 2-way threat.

According to sports industry news, during Martin’s exit interview, he expressed his wish to be a part of the Miami Heat, saying that he can still contribute whatever is expected from him. He said he feels like he is one of the players who can fluctuate based on the team’s requirements.

He added that he can step in and succeed if the Miami Heat needs a player to get off the bench and bring energy to the game. He never cared about the role he was expected to play or which team needed him, as he could fill the void for any team by being more consistent and efficient in the game.
