GAT Expo Cartagena set for success
With less than three months to go before GAT Expo Cartagena, the organizing team is working around the clock to coordinate every detail of this annual large-scale trade show, which will once again be held at the Cartagena Las Americas Convention Center.
The fairgrounds will dress up to celebrate with the Gaming & Technology Expo organization, speakers, personalities, authorities and special guests, its 25 years of existence with a Colombian and Caribbean accent, sharing with attendees a representative sample of the music, folklore and gastronomy of the region, on April 9, after the academic agenda that opens three days of intense commercial activity with the exhibition stands in the spacious halls of the chosen location, Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11.

It is important to highlight that the Colombian Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has approved a Temporary Free Trade Zone (ZFT) for exhibitors interested in the temporary importation of machinery and equipment; the benefit is valid from March 4 to May 10, 2024.

GAT Showcase Santo Domingo
The most relevant news is that the event, which has been held in Punta Cana in June for the last three years, will be moved to Santo Domingo in September, taking into account the general elections in the Dominican Republic that will mark a change of government in the middle of the year.
This news is complemented by the fact that CIBELAE, Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, is actively participating in GAT Showcase Santo Domingo, holding a congress that will focus on the situation and development of lotteries, as well as the control of illegality. The event is supported by the Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos ADCJ and the National Association of Sports Banks. In addition to the CIBELAE Congress, there will be presentations on regulatory issues and market updates in the Caribbean and Antilles.
GAT Caribe Cancun
For the first time, GAT will close its annual calendar in Mexico, celebrating GAT Caribe Cancun, given the size of the market, the opportunities that this nation offers to the gaming industry, and the peak of online betting throughout the territory, which is expected to grow by 70% in the next three years.
