The same principle applies to Oman; it is only when the side wins all three games that they will make it to Super Six. The net run rate could be a factor to hold them back.

As for Zimbabwe versus Oman, the hosts nearly lost their skipper for 5 runs in 10 balls. It is the spell delivered by Kaleemullah that finds a way to hit the leg stumps for LBW. Craig resists and goes for a reference. The decision is overturned to give him a shot at survival. The ball pitches outside the leg, a great moment for Zimbabwe. Their captain remains on the field.

The current run rate is 3.78, with 17 runs for no loss. As the game proceeds, hosts will only cement their position in the game. They are even backed by probabilities displayed at the best cricket betting sites. Opponents have decided to go with Bilal Khan and Kaleemullah as their opening bowlers.

Born in Pakistan, Bilal is currently representing Oman as the left-arm fast-medium bowler. His ODI career has seen him pick 92 wickets in 43 innings. Kaleemullah has a similar story, except he is the right-arm medium bowler with 33 wickets to his name in 36 innings.

Leading Zimbabwe are Jaylord Gumbie and Craig Ervine. This is a right-handed and left-handed combination on the pitch, forcing bowlers to make adjustments after every single run. Jaylord is a young entrant to the sport featuring an average of 42.2 runs throughout 4 innings. The total runs scored by him are 169, with the highest being 78.

Craig, on the other side, has more experience and comes heavily loaded with the highest score of 130 runs. His career spans over 110 innings for a total of 3,264 runs.

This will be followed by Scotland versus West Indies, where the latter must win at any cost. All eyes will be on Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran once again after they manage to successfully pillar the middle order from collapsing. Pooran’s unbeaten 104 off 65 balls went down the drain, but it established that the side did not leave without a fight.

Scotland comes with 3 wins and a single loss from the group stage. Brandon McMullen scored 136 runs off 121 balls as Chris Greaves led the bowling unit having five wickets to his name.
