Kindred Group, in partnership with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, has recently launched online sports betting in Pennsylvania. Before this, the Kindred group had opened the Unibet Sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Pocono. From today onwards, Pennsylvania based customers of Unibet can dive into enjoy a range of sportsbook and casino products online and can download the mobile app as well.
After the launch of online betting in Pennsylvania, Manuel Stan, Kindred U.S. senior vice president, stated that the firm is “thrilled to take the partnership with Mohegan Sun online and bring the Pennsylvanian guests a state-of-the-art online gambling experience.” The platform includes online casino games and also an online sportsbook.
Notably, the USA online betting sports site is Kindred’s second venture. The firm had launched an online casino and sportsbook earlier in the year in New Jersey. Interestingly, the online product has been rolled out just a week after the official launch of the Unibet Sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Pocono.
Speaking of the gaming experience, Aviram Alroy, VP of interactive gaming at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, urged that the sportsbook lounge at Mohegan Sun Pocono is a “highly engaging and joyful experience.” He also expressed his gratitude to the Kindred Group for extending the partnership through the new venture. “We’re thrilled to introduce to our customers an opportunity to place bets and game online within the state borders,” Alroy added.
Moreover, Kindred has also announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Union. The MoU is aimed at strengthening the brand awareness of Unibet in Pennsylvania. The two professional soccer clubs have a huge fan following in the region.
Mohegan Sun Pocono was the first destination that introduced gaming to Pennsylvania back in 2006. The gaming hub is extending over an area of 82,000 sq. Feet hosts more than 50 live table games, 1,900 slot machines, and electronic table games. The gaming space also has various other recreational options, including dining in, shopping, and entertainment.
