President of FIFA welcomes team one to Qatar

Gianni Infantino, who happens to be the President of FIFA, gave a warm and enthusiastic welcome to all of the 129 referees, the assistant referees, and the video match office-holders. They, in turn, will now be entirely responsible for the complete supervision of all of the proceedings related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This event also saw the kick-starting of their formal training camp, which has been appropriately designed and built upon.

On a lighter note, he said that he would address them as Team One, considering the enormous role they would be playing from this moment onwards. He further stressed that ensuring the ultimate success of the entire game would be on their shoulders. In his opinion, there could never be any FIFA game without their collective professional contribution.

Another fact that drew the attention of the President, and for which he felt elated, is that for the very first time in the entire history of the FIFA World Cup Games, there would be lady officials involved in every sphere of the game. However, in his opinion, this showed a positive sign of the progress made in the gaming arena and the FIFA betting sites.

Amongst the high-level dignitaries for this auspicious function were the CEO of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Nasser Al Khater, and the FIFA Deputy Secretary-general, Mattias Grafstrom.

The entire delegation, including each contributor to the game, was addressed by Pierluigi Collina himself, who happens to be the Chairman of the FIFA referee committee. However, the seminar was followed by a depth discussion about assistive technology, VAR, health and fitness, and many others.
