Betting to Launch a Campaign to Raise Bitcoin Awareness with Watford Sleeve Sponsor, Premier League side Watford FC is launching an educational campaign to raise awareness about bitcoin. The campaign is going to present the logo of Bitcoin (₿) on the sleeves of the official shirts all through the year-long campaign season.

It will mainly make people aware and educate about virtual currencies and provide more information about digital asset’s benefits.

Justin Le Brocque, Head of Marketing, said:

The crypto community have been hugely supportive of us since we began, so putting the Bitcoin logo on the sleeve felt like a fun way to give something back while also showing them our support.”

Some of the biggest challenges we, and others like us, the face is raising awareness, dispelling common myths around cryptos and educating the public on the advantages and opportunities presented by cryptocurrencies.”

He also said that

Our partnership with Watford marks a major disruption in the world of traditional sports sponsorship, and by adding the Bitcoin logo we hope this world’s first partnership will create even more buzz around cryptocurrencies.”

The operator of gambling & betting made a deal of 3 years in June this year in order to be the team’s main sponsor for shirts. The incident is also representing the first company on blockchain & cryptocurrency to be appearing on a shirt for Premier League. After the announcement, launched the campaign by the name ‘Know No Borders.’ This represents the company’s dedication to keeping players at the gist of the acts, regardless of their nation, team, sport or currency.
