Play’n GO & Thunderkick acquires Gaming Supplier permit by SGA

Thunderkick and Play’n GO, the leading online game providers, recently announced they had attained a Swedish B2B suppliers license from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA). With this permit, Thunderkick and Play’n GO are bound to continue providing unique games to the legal operators complying with the regulations of the Swedish market.

As per gaming industry news, Sweden’s law on online gambling is stringent compared to other countries. However, both gaming providers are excited to meet almost all the prerequisites to operate in Sweden. They will now ensure their creative and unique gaming supply with an unparalleled register of games in Sweden.

The agreement with SGA demonstrates the provider’s commitment to Sweden and the whole European market. Reportedly, the Swedish license is the second acquisition in 2023 for Play’n GO after securing the reputable US iGaming state of Connecticut license this year. However, the company has also entered some newly regulated markets the previous year, like Ontario, Michigan, West Virginia, and New Jersey.

To this achievement, the Head of Compliance at Thunderkick Wan Kim expressed his gratitude to SGA for their easy process and added that they are looking forward to working with SGA.

Following the license renewal, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO, Magnus Olsson, praised Spelinspektionen for its quick and smooth functioning of granting the license. He ensured that the company would continue to showcase the safest and most exciting gaming experience to Swedish players.
