Qatar vs Senegal, FIFA World Cup 2022 Live Updates: Senegal wins against QAT 3-1

It was the day’s second match in the FIFA World Cup 2022, and the audience at the Al Thumama Stadium was on a nail-biting ride. The host of the FIFA World Cup, Qatar, has pushed itself further towards elimination after a terrific loss in the match against Senegal. This Group A match added more feathers to the hat of the Senegal Football Team. 

From the Senegal team, Famara Diedhiou, Boulaye Dia, and Bamba Dieng scored the three goals that led to the final winning of the team. In the first half, Senegal took the upper hand by scoring a goal, and Boulaye Dia shot it. It was the first goal that Qatar made in the FIFA World Cup. The last goal of the match was effortlessly done by Bamba Dieng, cementing a victorious win for Senegal. 

Senegal showed possession of 55% while Qatar did its level best with 45%. 13 shots were made by Senegal, which was up against 10 shots from Qatar. However, Senegal faced more fouls than Qatar in the match. No red card was shown to either team, and Senegal had better pass accuracy.
