PokerStars Releases WCOOP 2021 Schedule

The entire WCOOP schedule 2021, the biggest poker event, has been released by PokerStars. The WCOOP 2021 WCOOP will take place from 22nd August to 15th September, with 102 events and a guaranteed prize fund of $100 million.

Until last year, 19 WCOOPs gave away $972,894,033 as a cash reward, but this event is quite different from previous ones because there are chances of crossing the $1 billion cash prize.

Severin Rasset, MD at PokerStars, says that WCOOP has been a long partner of PokerStars. It is where the poker community can compete for a chance to make poker history and become a global champion. In the 20th edition, the community has a $100 million guarantee, new prizes for the victors, and various options for qualified players, including our WCOOP Road and the Series of 50/50 WCOOP.

There will be three levels of buy-in in each WCOOP event, i.e., Low, Medium, and High, covering a total of 306 events. Though many players find it hard to reach Medium and High, low levels can be as low as $5.50, ensuring that every Player has something to receive.

No Main Events are costly, and the lowest is $55, but players who are not in micro-roller should scrape together enough coin. There will be Six Main Events, three No-Limit Hold’em, and three Pot-Limit Omaha. The “Main” Event is the $5,200 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max event, which has$10 million prize money, is the “Main” Event.

Since the event is online, every winner of the event will get a real trophy. There will be two types of trophies. The six Main Event winners and the Player of the Series will each get one kind.

Plenty of Ways to Qualify

PokerStars is conducting various initiatives helping all players to qualify; one such is the Road to WCOOP, as Severin Rasset said. This initiative was started in July, so players playing on Stars must have come across it.

Once a week, the Player needs to opt-in and then select different levels of Redemption Points Target. Players will earn a ticket as a part of the weekly drawing if they hit the objective by playing online poker games using real cash. WCOOP tickets are then handed over to the winners of the draws. If a player fails to win, he/she will enter the Ambassador Freeroll of $200,000 on 22nd August for another opportunity that will help win tickets for WCOOP.
