The Canadian parents filed the legal notice against the Epic Games. According to them, the gaming company has ruined the lives of their children. This game is more like a drug to them. The game has a terrible impact on their children’s lives.

A lawyer, Alessandra Chartrand, said that when Epic Games was developing this game, the company hired psychologists to make the game more addictive. These experts can enter deep into the human brain and understand the tendency to be addictive. They applied their theories and made this game very addictive.

The parents who have filed the case said that they were not aware of the game their children were playing. If they would know the game would be so addictive, then they would never have allowed their children to play this game. They regret that they should have watched the activities of their children closely.

According to the WHO (World Health Organization), video game addiction is a mental disorder, and Fortnite is one of those games that can indulge the youth in obsession. These games can change the behavior of the person and make him mentally disturbed. It is a severe health issue that can make the person have a permanent disability.
