Altenar debuts in Hungary with Vegas.hu

Altenar, a casino & iGaming software provider, has joined hands with Vegas.hu, an online casino & sportsbook operator by LVC Diamond. This strengthens the presence of Altenar in Europe’s Hungarian market, where it will assess the current condition before exploring the potential for further expansion.

The sports betting section of Vegas.hu was recently introduced. It now has access to a comprehensive and contemporary online sportsbook solution as a result of the partnership. The objective is to distinguish them apart from competitors in the marketplace. Assuming the partnership proceeds as planned, LVC Diamond may extend the association to another online platform, vipcasino.hu, if successful. In addition to two online casinos, the company operates five physical casinos in Budapest.

The sports betting section on Vegas.hu was added only in July 2023. It has already received all the necessary licenses and is now backed by a commitment to offering high-quality content. Moving forward, Altenar and Vegas.hu will ensure that the experience only elevates from this point for customers. Also, they will stick to their commitment to keeping the betting environment compliant and safe.

Charlie Williams from Altenar has said that the partnership represents a new era of European growth for them, especially with their debut in Hungary. The company’s commercial director has said that it is their privilege to enter a market that houses some of the leading casino groups. Charlie concluded the statement by saying that they now aim to drive the continuous growth of sports betting in the Hungarian market.

Gergely Koppany, the Sports Betting Director at LVC Diamond, has greeted Altenar with absolute delight while highlighting that their cooperation is primarily for the long term. Gergely has emphasized that their goal is to become a strong and competitive participant in the markets of Hungary.

Altenar emerged as an ideal candidate for the partnership. Multiple rewards, like EGR Nordics, MiGEAs, and EGR Italy, back the software provider. It is also licensed in 13 global markets, all of which have a significant reputation for the venture. Now, multiple leading operators have chosen Altenar as their content provider.

Another partnership that once brewed in Hungary was between FSB and the Hungarian State Lottery. This dates back to 2022 when the goal was to back SZR Slovakia’s online sportsbook with a multi-year agreement.

Altenar entering Hungary extends the goal of providing better content to customers in the market. While it helps Altenar gain decent recognition in the region, it also works well for Vegas.hu since it will be able to provide high-quality content to players by expanding the iGaming portfolio.

The agreement is specifically for a single online casino. It could expand to another brand, followed by land-based casinos picking up the momentum to target a wider market base.
