Apple has announced that it will launch MLS Season Pass on February 01, 2023, ahead of the regular season scheduled to start on February 25, 2023. Fans in over 10 countries and regions will have access to MLS content at the best price, which is currently different for Apple TV App and Apple TV+ subscribers.
The price starts from $12.99 per month for the subscribers of Apple TV+ and $14.99 for the Apple TV app. Another option is to subscribe to the service on a seasonal basis. Subscribers of Apple TV+ can have the subscription of MLS Season Pass for $79 per season, while the users of the Apple TV app can subscribe at $99 per season.
The Apple TV app, streaming devices, smart TVs, game consoles, and set-top boxes qualify to host the service. Meanwhile, users can also visit tv.apple.com to view soccer content.
The announcement was made by Apple through an official article, kickstarting the 10-year historic partnership with MLS. Over a hundred games of MLS NEXT and MLS NEXT Pro will also be available during the season. MLS is Back will be free for all Apple TV app users as an added benefit.
Don Garber, the Commission of MLS, expressed his excitement while stating that MLS has the most engaged & passionate sports fans who can now access all the MLS matches anywhere in the world.
Eddy Cue, the Senior Vice President of Services at Apple, called this a perfect time for the introduction of MLS Season Pass to add that everyone at Apple is now counting the days to February 2023, when fans across the globe will have access to MLS Season Pass on almost a billion devices.
What adds cherry to this cake is that Apple has committed to zero blackouts during the subscription period.
MLS Matches will be available in English and Spanish so that they can conveniently tune into any radio broadcast. Canadian matches will have the option to be broadcasted in French. While the time can vary for a few games, most will begin at 7:30 pm ET, with pregame coverage starting at 7:00 pm ET.
MLS Regular Season 2023 starts on February 25, 2023. With MLS Season Pass becoming easily accessible through Apple services, punters can expect to have better insights before visiting different soccer betting sites through their devices. The first match will be the most interesting as it features Los Angeles FC and LA Galaxy.
