BetMGM and Puyallup Tribe Partner to Run Sports Betting in Washington

The sports betting industry in Washington received a huge boost with BetMGM and Puyallup Tribe’s partnership. The collaboration will see the giant operator and the Puyallup Tribe operate sports betting at Emerald Queen Casino.

Adam Greenblatt, the CEO of BetMGM, commented on the development. According to him, the recent announcement marks another crucial milestone for BetMGM’s expansion as the operator sets foot in Washington. The Emerald Queen Casino and the Puyallup Tribe are ideal partners for BetMGM due to their esteemed experiences, service quality, and amenities.

Currently, the Emerald Queen Casino functions in two venues – Tacoma and Fife. Both properties fall under the jurisdiction of the Puyallup Tribe. Despite amassing an extensive reach, both casinos still await regulatory approvals to conduct sports betting.

BetMGM,one of the top sportsbooks, will offer premium viewing and sports betting technology in its Tacoma-based Emerald Queen Casino sportsbook. The venue will allow users to bet at six different ticket windows or/and 30 kiosks. Moreover, the area will boast of a 10+ 86 inch high-definition TV alongside a 500 square foot LED wall. Comparatively, the Fife-based sportsbook will provide 22 kiosks for sports betting.

Frank Wright Junior, Emerald Queen Casino’s General Manager, also talked about the development. He expressed delight about collaborating with BetMGM and bringing legalized sports betting operations to sports enthusiasts in the region. He considers BetMGM and EQC powerhouses ideal for offering the ultimate sports betting experience to fans.
