FIFA World Cup may push global crypto consumption

In light of the plethora of crypto-related sponsorships, the 2022 FIFA World Cup, set to take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, could be one of the most key events of the year in terms of bringing crypto to the masses.

Crypto.com, along with several other major companies, was selected as a sponsor for the 2022 FIFA World Cup earlier this year. Incidentally, Crypto.com is an online marketplace for buying and selling digital currencies. The publicity that Crypto.com would receive as a result of becoming a major sponsor for this massive and highly anticipated event is big enough that it has the potential to catapult the company into the big leagues. This is because of the massive number of viewers that are awaiting the game and will push the number of viewers well above the five billion mark. This will also affect the total number of players on top FIFA betting sites.

As everyone knows, sporting events of all kinds continue to be a popular form of entertainment around the globe. Football, on the other hand, is regarded extremely highly among these activities. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that any competition or event including the game would attract a massive audience. When the event in question is the FIFA World Cup, this is especially true.

As per our Crypto.com review, the company has always been known to be very enthusiastic about all promotional related activities, which are connected with all kinds of games in general.

This time, however, the aim and intention of the company is to play for higher stakes, hence the decision to become a sponsor for the FIFA World Cup.
