Locally situated in Las Vegas, the MGM Resorts have pledged to contribute $100,000 to the Kindbridge Research Institute, which is conducting research on a treatment trial for veterans habituated to gambling. At this time, the objective is to alleviate the psychological issues of veterans who are problem gamblers and reduce their gambling inclinations.

Treatment providers affiliated with the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Veterans Affairs Residential Recovery and Renewal Center will collaborate to conduct the research. As part of the 50x4vets program, a Kindbridge Research Institute endeavor to increase research on wagering disorder in veterans by a factor of fifty over the course of four years, this study was conducted.
BetMGM will further strengthen its partnership with Kindbridge Behavioral Health to provide referrals for problem gambling in the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, and Nevada, as well as Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
