Zakariya Mouhib & Kevin Garosshen win Venetian DeepStack Showdown

The DeepStack Showdown Series at Venetian Las Vegas is finally over. The event hosted over 57 esteemed tournaments with 5,400+ entrants competing for more than 586k dollars.

Among the several winners in the event, two names stood out from the rest: Zakariya Mouhib and Kevin Garosshen. Both participants outperformed the competition by securing wins at two events.

According to the poker news, Zakariya Mouhib won approximately 30,000 dollars at the event, and Garosshen secured approximately 27,000 dollars.

Here are some of the other winners present at the event – David Larson (5k dollars in winnings), Susan Soto (2k dollars in winnings), Gary Bolden (3k dollars in winnings), Fernando Rodriguez (25k in winnings) and John Kyte (40k in winnings).

Coming back to the only two-time winners, Kevin Garosshen beat 47 participants at Event No 3 for 6,910 dollars and Event No 9 for 20,224 dollars.

On the other hand, Zakariya Mouhib beat 581 players at Event No 17 to win 23,319 dollars and 71 players at Event No 48 for 7,341 dollars.

While the DeepStack Showdown Series is over, Las Vegas Venetian is not done with competitions. The next series at the Venetian already began on November 20 and is set to run till December 24.

Like the DeepStack Showdown Series, DeepStack Extravaganza IV has 57 events scheduled. The series offers players over 2.1 million dollars in guaranteed prize pools. Once that is done, the DeepStack Extravaganza NYE Series will start on Christmas.

The series will run till January 7 with 967k dollars in guaranteed prize pools. Poker players are thrilled about the back-to-back series, especially given the services offered by the Venetian. Based on the prize pool alone, DeepStack Extravaganza IV is expected to be the biggest event among the three series.
