2K23 Summer League to Be Covered by ESPN and NBA TV

The NBA 2K23 Summer League will take place in Las Vegas from 7 to July 17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion at the University of Nevada. The 11-day tournament will see 30 NBA teams participate and play five games each. ESPN networks and NBA TV will broadcast a total of 75 games.

As per the schedule, the teams will play the tournament’s first four games between the 7 to July 15. The two teams with the top records at the end of the first four games will be selected for the Summer League championship face-off on July 17. The game will begin at 3 p.m E.T. and be covered by ESPN. The remaining 28 teams will play the remaining games on July 16 or 17.

On July 7, the first of the tournament will begin with a doubleheader. The first match will be played at 10 p.m between the Orlando Magic, who hold the No.1 overall pick in NBA Draft 2022, and the Houston Rocks, with pick numbers 3 and 17 in the draft. The second match kicks off at noon between the Detroit Pistons with pick No.5 and the Portland Trail Blazers with pick No.7. These will be aired on ESPN television networks and mobile apps.

NBA TV’s broadcasts begin on the tournament’s second day with three games. It includes the matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers at 5 p.m E.T. The remaining four games, including the face-off between the Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Hornets at 6 p.m, will air on ESPN networks.

The exciting games on Saturday will feature all the top 4 picks of NBA Draft 2022 in action. Firstly, the game between the Orlando Magic and the defending Summer League champions Sacramento Kings will feature No.1 and 4 overall picks. When the Oklahoma City Thunder faces the Rockets at 8 p.m, the fans will see no.2 and 3 overall picks.

According to the schedule, the top two picks will face each other on Monday, July 11, in the 11-day competition. This match will feature the Oklahoma City Thunder facing the Rockets at 9 p.m E.T. on ESPN.

The initial two games will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center on the first day, and the remaining days will each carry six to nine games to be held at both Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. Presented by State Farm, the NBA Draft 2022 will take place on Thursday, June 23, and will be aired on ABC and ESPN networks.
