Croatia as a team has also saved itself three times in a World Cup shootout. Now, Ivan Perisic has tied with Davor Suker as the highest World Cup scorer for Croatia.

As for the Brazil vs. South Korea game, Neymar has matched Ronaldo, Perisic, Messi, and Shaqiri as the players who have scored in the past three World Cups. Furthermore, Neymar has converted the previous 13 penalty kicks.

Even Brazil has matched a record by consecutively entering the quarterfinals for the eighth time. The team has also matched Germany to reach the quarterfinals for the 14th time.

Brazil has deployed 26 players at the World Cup, becoming the first side in World Cup history to do so. Currently, two CONMEBOL teams have advanced to the knockout round, which has only occurred once previously, in 2002.

As the World Cup advances, fans are expecting even more exciting games.
