Greentube Strengthens Its Greek Footprint with a Collaboration with Fonbet

Greenbet announces a relationship with Fonbet. As part of the arrangement, Fonbet will carry a selection of Greentube titles, with the first six titles being made accessible to local players.

Greentube has recently increased its presence in Greece after recent agreements in Italy, the United States, and the Netherlands.

Greentube’s sales and chief accounts manager for Greece, Lisa Sandner, stated that their content is performing well in the Greek market. They are excited to reach much more local players via their alliance with Fonbet, a well-known reputable operating company.

She went on to explain that they would continue to focus on expanding in regulated markets and that Greece would play a significant role in their growth plan.

Following the passage of revisions to the country’s gambling legislation by the Greek parliament in October 2019, supplier licenses have been available since the beginning of October 2020.

Online slots, which were almost outlawed in an earlier draft of the legislation, will now be limited to €2 each spin, with just a three-second minimum spin time and a maximum prize of €70,000 for each round under the new regulations.

Yiannis Zafiratos, vice president of international operations at Fonbet, added that Greentube’s content is well-known and that they are pleased to be able to offer a selection of their best-performing titles to their customers.

He went on to say that with additional games coming soon to their offering, they are looking forward to long and fruitful cooperation with Greentube.
