Casino gaming continues to dominate the Ontario iGaming Market with CA$6.0 million, showing a 7% decrease month-over-month and 85% market share. It also projected CA$214 million in gross revenue from casino gaming and and 76% market share, another 7% decline from January’s CA$230 million.
Coming to peer-to-peer poker, the total cash wagers stood at around CA$130 million, accounting for about 2% of the total market share, and projecting an 11% decrease month-over-month. In terms of gross gaming revenue, poker generated CA$4.8 million, reflecting a 15% decrease month-over-month and a 2% market share.
The average revenue earned from every active player account in Ontario decreased by almost 16% from January and stood at around CA$248 in February. After exceptional growth in January, the iGaming marketing in Ontario is currently adjusting while the casino gaming sector is trying to maintain a steady presence.
