Spain has registered its victory against Costa Rica in a Group E clash. Spain routed Costa Rica by 7-0  in the ongoing FIFA world cup match 2022 at Al Thumama Stadium. In the first half, Spain was dominant with over 85% of the possession, and they grabbed a lead in the first 30 minutes only by scoring 3 goals, whereas Costa Rica was on the defense right from the beginning.

Spain dominated right from the beginning controlling the ball with a short pass playing technique leaving the opponents no chance to take any shot at the Spanish goalpost.

Dani Olmo made an opening and scored in the 11th minute, while Marco Asensio got his hand and made it 2-0. Before going for a break, Spain marked 3-0 with the efforts made by Ferran Torres, destroying Costa Rica’s defense and hopes.

In the second half, the match became obvious when Spain’s players showed their outstanding performance. The score of 7-0 was scored by Ferran Torres, Gavi, Carlos Soler, and Alvaro Morata.

18-year-and-110-days old Pablo Paez Gavira has set a new benchmark by becoming Spain’s youngest player and scoring a goal in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Gavi gave a record-breaking performance and set the high betting odds at top FIFA betting sites, when he contributed the fifth goal in the 7-0 win

Spain has never lost a match in the three encounters the teams have had, and this massive win gives a warning bell to Spain’s rivals for the upcoming matches. Spain will now face Germany in the second group match on 28th November.
