Barcelona to Receive Compensation From FIFA Until Ronald Araujo Is Back

Ronald Araujo will be missing a few games in the next month. He is reported to have sustained a serious injury, adding worries not just to Barcelona but also to Xavi Hernandez. Another player who will be out of action for the next three weeks is Jules Kounde.

Replacements for both have been lined-up. Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen will take over as regulars.

The space is still a bit deserted as injuries have taken over more players of Barcelona. Ousmane Dembele, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri will likely miss a few games. Their fitness reports have been against their expectations.

A major change will come for participants who are betting on FIFA for the upcoming World Cup matches. With Ronald Araujo out of the field and replacements filling in, the odds of the national team proceeding in the tournament will alter as the statistics will change in the coming days.

According to the top sports news, Ronald Araujo is said to be in a serious situation. If media reports are to be believed, he could miss out on an initial portion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Barcelona is currently at a larger loss. Ronald Araujo has gone missing with an injury. A silver lining from the incident is that FIFA could compensate the football club for his injury under its Club Protection Program.

The program states that FIFA will compensate if a player is out of action for more than 28 days due to an injury that the player sustained when on duty with the international team. Since Ronald Araujo will be unavailable for more than 28 days, Barcelona will receive compensation based on the fixed salary of Ronald Araujo.

Compensation from FIFA under the program will be directly given to the club until Ronald Araujo resumes training.

Ronald Araujo injured his right thigh while playing against Iran in a friendly game. Ronald Araujo will also be missing El Clasico in addition to the initial portion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He will only be missed in the upcoming UCL matches against Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.

Gerard Pique was benched; however, his moment to steal the show has now come. Xavi will be looking at him to fill in the role on the field and do wonders for the club.

Ronald Araujo is eyeing to return for the tournament. Despite the first diagnosis asking for the procedure, he has declined to undergo surgery. Ronald Araujo hopes to make a comeback at the earliest with clear intentions that surgery will not be an option for the treatment.

He had two options: conservative treatment and surgery. While the conservative treatment is not guaranteed to be the best option, it carries better chances of getting him back on the field much before surgery does that.
