LeoVegas signs an agreement to acquire Push Gaming
LeoVegas, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the MGM brand, has signed an agreement with Push Gaming. The terms grant LeoVegas Resorts the right to acquire Push Gaming by the end of the current year. This is a tentative timeline; however, the deal seems pretty rock-solid. Meaning, both parties could very well conclude the partnership agreement on time.
Post-acquisition, Push Gaming will continue to house 100 employees under the same management. There will be no change in that department after LeoVegas Resorts acquires Push Gaming. Also, Push Gaming will continue to develop and distribute on its own platform, RGS, short for remote gaming server.
The part where the agreement comes into play is that Push Gaming will offer support to LeoVegas Resorts in its mission to expand its operations, especially in the iGaming segment.
Push Gaming has agreed to support LeoVegas Resorts at every step through its proprietary technology, intellectual property, and development experience. By September 2022, MGM had acquired LeoVegas Resorts. Signing a partnership agreement with Push Gaming makes it the first major partnership deal for LeoVegas Resorts since that time.
LeoVegas Resorts has confirmed the news of keeping over a hundred employees under the same management in its announcement.
Gary Fritz from MGM Resorts expressed satisfaction with the partnership, adding that the acquisition aligns with their efforts to extend the brand in the global iGaming market. Additionally, the president of MGM Resorts International Interactive stated that the acquisition will expand the company’s capabilities and product offerings over time.
Push Gaming has a successful track record when it comes to developing games for the community. This is one factor in particular that made it a good choice for LeoVegas Resorts to enter into a partnership. Push Gaming is also known for its management and operating team.
Gustaf Hagman from LeoVegas has said that they are thrilled to welcome Push Gaming into their ecosystem. The Chief Executive Officer of the venture has appreciated Push Gaming’s management for a phenomenal journey, which currently stands tall with the company having outstanding proprietary content along with a strong customer base.
LeoVegas Resorts is now looking forward to working with Push Gaming to achieve its expansion goals.
The development comes days after LeoVegas Resorts announced it had won two awards at this year’s EGR Nordic Awards. LeoVegas Resorts has received a silver award for being the top achiever in the Operator of the Year category and has also been recognized as the Casino Operator for this year.
LeoVegas Resorts dedicated the awards to its team, saying that winning these awards was a testament to their hard work and dedication. This only adds positives to the LeoVegas Casino review, wherein the brand also shines with exceptional customer support and other teams like developers and designers.
LeoVegas Group is now all set to acquire the majority of the stake in Push Gaming, a brand that has distributed over 30 games to more than 200 operators across the globe.
